Your journey in luge

The Federation seeks to identify promising athletes, build strong physical and technical foundations, and prepare eligible competitors for national and international opportunities.

Discover

Grassroots outreach, school engagement and regional talent identification introduce athletes to the demands of luge.

Develop

Physical preparation, start technique, steering fundamentals, equipment knowledge and athlete education build performance foundations.

Perform

Structured camps, selection criteria, sports science and competition exposure prepare athletes for elite racing.

04

Represent

Eligible athletes may progress towards Asian, international, World Championship and Olympic competition.

Assessment

Physical aptitude

Speed, explosive strength, coordination, mobility, composure and consistency are central to the athlete profile. Formal test standards and event-specific requirements are published with each programme notice.
